Whizbang

Yesterday I went to a new little fabric store that I've been hearing about called Whizbang. Though it is a very small space, all of the fabric they carry is great, and they also have a really nice selection of vintage fabric. How cute is this teacup print above? This was from the vintage bin. I thought it would be a good print for making pot holders or something else kitchen-related. Then I also got some of this bird print in shades of pink and orange. If you're in San Francisco, and love fabric stores, check it out sometime.

From Peachtree Peddlers

I totally forgot to show you some of the things we saw at Peachtree Peddlers while I was in Atlanta, so here are a few pictures from my favorite McDonough antique mall. As you can probably tell, I have my eye on kids stuff lately.

How cute is this little cowboy?

Paint by number paintings, which I think look really good as a collection like this or this.

More cowboy cuteness.

An old aqua fan. I love old fans, though I don't actually have one myself.

Vintage fabric. I did get a few yards from this pile.

Cute old pillow made from a quilt.

Old recipe booklets.

Pretty fireplace screen.

Cute yellow chair with Raggedy Ann and little Andy.

I loved these tea sets--stackable teapot, creamer and sugar. My favorite one was the one in the middle.
