Recently People Magazine spoke with the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin about her recent weight loss,new music and her upcoming Biopic. When asked who she would like to play her in the TV film,Aretha Franklin
replied:"I'm not sure yet. Jennifer Hudson came to read for me. I also have an interest in Halle Berry possibly doing it. And Fantasia."
So could Halle Berry pull it off? Will Halle be able to play Aretha Franklin?I R-E-S-P-E-C-T my elders so i will keep my smart comments to myself. I will say,however,that Halle Berry could probably pull off playing Aretha Franklin when she was younger. They look like twins,don't they? I kid. Halle Berry with her short hair resembles Aretha when she was younger. Right?The question though remains:Could Halle Berry play the Queen in her later years?
