Giveaway Day! Your Pick

Today is giveaway day again! And today is a you pick it giveaway--anything from the clothes and shoes shop. This one's going to be the last giveaway for a while. Since we're moving later this summer, I'm starting to clean out what we don't need, including everything in my vintage etsy shops. I hope to start them up again once we get settled in London. So leave a comment here if you want to win something from my clothes shop. Also, I've marked everything 50% off (only in the clothes shop for now), so if you see anything you like, snatch it up for a deal of a price. You have until tomorrow, Tuesday, at noon pacific time to enter to win the giveaway. You can see what's in my shop here.

UPDATE: The winner is Amy of The Hip Homemaker! YAY! Thanks for playing. Hopefully I'll bring back giveaways from London in the future.

Giveaway Day!

It's giveaway day again, and this time it's a really great etched ship glass. I'm not sure what the intended purpose was for this glass. I think it would make a good snifter, but I don't know for sure if that was its original purpose. With the etched ship design, it makes a great candle holder, though.

I love little glasses like this because they can easily serve multiple purposes. This one would be great in a bathroom holding q-tips, cotton balls, bath salts, or just a tea light. It's going to be hard to part with this one! I found it recently while thrifting along with these other goodies below. More to come on the apothecary bottle (citrate magnesia bottle on the right)--that one is a keeper. The other two things you'll find in my etsy shop soon.

I think a little bryd is affecting my eyes while I'm out treasure hunting. I like her shop so much that what I've bought recently reminds me more of her shop than my own. Oh yes, and sorry for skipping the giveaway on the 15th earlier this month. I meant to tell you I was skipping it since we were out of town, but I forgot to mention it! You have until Tuesday at 12 noon pacific time to leave your comment for a chance to win the etched ship glass.

Update: And the winner is . . . Helen of the museum cupboard! Yay, Helen!

Giveaway Day! Your Pick

For today's giveaway, I decided that you get to pick the prize! Any one thing under $25 can be yours--one bag, one piece of jewelry, one blouse, etc. Just leave a comment here by Saturday at 12 noon, and I'll announce the winner tomorrow later in the afternoon. Go ahead and see what you might want in my etsy vintage clothing shop. Here are just a few things I have listed now (just showing these as an example, but you can choose anything under $25). Yay!

It's after 12 and I've drawn the winner, and it's Debbie from Romancing The Bling!! YAY Debbie! By the way, Debbie makes really beautiful re-purposed jewelry, including pretty hair pins and hair combs--go check out her shop. Debbie, I'll be in touch to see what you'd like from my shop. Oh, and from now on, I'll announce the winner at the bottom of my giveaway posts.

Giveaway Day!

Today is giveaway day and as promised, I'm giving away something from my etsy shop. I'll be doing this on the 1st and the 15th of every month, so mark your calendar! Today's giveaway is a really cute lady head vase! I love lady head vases, and I found this one recently at the Alemany Flea Market. There she is pictured below in her natural habitat (the flea market). So go ahead, chime in and leave a comment if you want to see her on your dressing table topped with cute spring flowers, or cute pens, or whatever you want to fill her with. This giveaway runs until 12 PM pacific time on Thursday the 16th. It would be nice to get something for free on tax day, wouldn't it?

A Bouquet for the Winner!

The winner of my first vintage giveaway is . . . Karin from One Perfect Little Miracle! Yay for Karin! Karin, head over to my shop and let me know which piece of jewelry you'd like. This was so much fun that I think I will have 2 giveaways a month! One on the 1st from my vintage clothes and accessories shop and one on the 15th from my vintage housewares shop. Hope to hear from you all again then!

Giveaway Fun!!

Thanks to everyone who wrote in for the Domino book giveaway! It's been so much fun getting all the comments! The book looks so good on my dressing table that it's going to be hard to part with it. I guess I need to get my own copy! Well, I printed the comments and cut them all into strips and put them in a hat (for real, I really did this!) so the drawing would be random and fair. So the lucky winners are . . . . drum roll here . . . . Katherine from Off the Map and Glenda from Romantic French Country! Yay, lucky winners! (I'll be in touch to get your addresses.)

As promised, I have more giveaway fun for you! I'm going to start having monthly vintage giveaways from my vintage etsy shops on the 1st of each month. I just didn't want to kick it off on April fool's day. No joke, though--each month on the first I'm going to have a giveaway for something from one of my shops! I wanted to give away a piece of jewelry for the first round, but I couldn't decide what to give away, so one lucky winner will get to choose what they want--one thing from the jewelry section of my shop. This giveaway runs from today at noon PST until tomorrow, April 3rd, at noon PST. Here are just a few examples of jewelry I have in my shop right now. Go take a peek to see what else is there in case you're the winner! I'll choose the winner randomly from the comments. I'm not putting all my jewelry on hold or taking it out of my shop, so be sure to check back on Friday afternoon so that you can choose your piece if you're the winner, that way if you have your eye on something, it most likely won't sell before you have a chance to snatch it up!

Domino: The Book of Decorating Giveaway

The design community is still mourning the demise of Domino, a great shelter magazine, but Domino: The Book of Decorating lives on! Simon & Schuster sent me 2 copies to giveaway to my readers. Lucky you! The book is filled with decorating tips and tricks as well as great pictures of amazing interiors, of course. And with such a pretty cover, who wouldn't want it as a nice coffee table book? So post a comment here if you want a chance to win! I'll draw the names at random, and I'll announce the 2 lucky winners on Thursday (April 2nd) at 12 noon PST when I'll be announcing another fun giveaway.
