Melanie Brown a.k.a Scary Spice appeared on Larry King Live last week Thursday and talked about her paternity suit against actor Eddie Murphy. She says that the reason why she is going public with the paternity suit is that she wants Eddie to acknowledge his daughter. In addition, she feels that Eddie has been "extremely disrespectful, and I don't think anyone should be allowed to get away with saying what he said while I was pregnant." Eddie Murphy,however, claims that he fully acknowledges Angel Iris Murphy Brown as his daughter and that he has in fact paid child support to Melanie.
Melanie Brown also talks about her new husband,Stephen Belafonte and why she kept their marriage a secret. In my opinion,there's something more to the story than meets the eyes. I believe that Melanie has a right to seek custody of her child ,but i think this whole "going public thing" is all about revenge and getting back at Eddie for being "disrespectful" in the beginning of her pregnancy.
