Remy Ma jailhouse nuptials were abruptly called off Monday when her rapper groom, Papoose, showed up with a most curious wedding present: a handcuff key.

"A wedding was scheduled today and a visitor to that wedding service was found to be in possession of jail contraband so the wedding was canceled," a correction official told the Daily News.

"The key that was found today easily opened handcuffs that we and other law enforcement officials use," the official said.

Now the 29-year-old Brooklyn-born Papoose - real name Shamele Mackie - won't be able to see his fiancée until November.

"The visitor was sanctioned by not being able to visit Rikers Island again for six months," the official said. "He was asked to leave."

So was Papoose trying to break out his rap queen, whose real name is Remy Smith, from the joint?

Neither his or her camp were saying - but Remy has every reason to be eager to get cut loose.

The 26-year-old Terror Squad rap princess faces up to 25 years at today's sentencing for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach last July outside a Meatpacking District club.

Papoose was not charged after he voluntarily surrendered the key to authorities.

He was quickly ushered out of the jail and never got to enter the prison island's Rose M. Singer chapel in which the two were set to say their "I do's."

Rapper T.I.pleaded guilty yesterday to federal weapons possession charges and will receive a sentence that includes prison time after he completes a period of community service. In the year that he is awaiting sentencing, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, must complete at least 1,000 hours of a total 1,500 hours of community service, talking to youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs, and drugs. He will be sentenced to serve about 12 months in prison after completing the community service, officials said. (AP)

When will this woman learn? As you all know,Remy Ma was arrested a couple of weeks back and was then released on bail. She,of course,denies shooting her friend,but whatever. Remy Ma has been arrested for the attempted murder of 23-Year-Old Makeda Barnes-Joseph. The rapper turned herself in late Saturday night. Her lawyer tells us not to jump to any conclusions as of yet because there is more to the story than what meets the eyes.*sigh* I wonder how this one is going to turn out. I seriously hope that whatever happens that Remy seek the help that she so desperately needs.

The citywide search still continues for rapper Remy Ma who allegedly shot her best friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph over $2,000.Yes,$2000(times must be really hard for the female rapper). The former leading lady of Fat Joe's Terror Squad fled the scene of the crime on foot(after crashing her Cadillac Escalade)and she is now wanted by Police officers.

The story is that Remy Ma approached Makeda Barnes-Joseph at her Nissan Maxima and shot her twice in the torso. Remy,along with her entourage, jumped into her Cadillac Escalade and fled the scene. However,she didn't get very far because she crashed the SUV shortly after.So now Remy Ma is on foot running for her life. Cops have caught the men that were riding with the 27-year-old rapper, but Remy is still at large.

How could this happen over $2,000? C'mon,Remy. Apparently Remy and Makeda have been friends for 15 years! i am disgusted and i hope that Ms. Remy Ma is caught real soon. You can't camouflage with the skunks for long,Remy.

Rapper Remy "Skunk" Ma is wanted by Police for the shooting of a young woman. Not much is known about this story except that a fight broke out between Remy Ma and a member of her entourage at a Pizza place in the meatpacking district in NYC. The shooting then occured with Remy fleeing the scene of the crime. Police are now trying to find Remy and the injured woman is in the hospital.

Remy Ma has a new video out titled "Weatherman." The video is pretty graphic and so i will just link it(click on link below). In the video Remy Ma is obviously dissin' someone. Who? My guess is "Make It Rain" frontman Fat Joe. Wow, Remy, Fat Joe messed you up like that?

In an interview with MissJones of Hot 97, Remy Ma spoke about her split with Terror Squad and Fat Joe saying that there were "monetary problems." Before she could split from her labelmates,however,Remy had to sign a contract saying that she couldn't work/rap with any of the G-unit members, especially Curtis 50 cent.

"'I don't want you to sign with 50 Cent. You can't do a song with him. You can't record with Olivia, with Mobb Deep.' I can't even have a song produced by Havoc," Remy says of the agreement. "All these dudes - their government names are in my release contract that I can not work with them, from Sha Money to Whoo Kid. I could show you the paperwork where it says 'Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson.'"
